Move water from the overflowing Mississippi River to the reservoirs of the Colorado. An interstate water system should be built with assistance from the federal government just like the Interstate Highway System was. The eastern half of the U.S. has far more water than it needs or uses, and it is the opposite in the western states. The U.S. does not have a water problem, it has a water distribution problem. What I propose is absolutely technically feasible. I hope the Water Agenda organization will become a passionate advocate for an Interstate Water System.
